We have a purpose built complex near Parthenay in the Deux Servres region of France with 2 modern Gites.
The Deux Servres region of France enjoys the most sunny days after the south of France and is perfect for biking, walks, visiting the local lakes and unspoilt villages or just relaxing here around our large swimming pool.
The Complex has over 2 acres of landscaped gardens with different areas for activities or just chilling out and taking in those sun rays.
Our accommodation and many facilities are suitable for everyone, active, sedate, less ambulant or wheel chaired. Also children can play safe within our complex while you enjoy a little peace and quiet.
Owners: Rose Dimenna & Neil Bayliss
Rose managed to do a fantastic job organising our marriage in such a short time.
Everything went like clockwork, including our little party piece at the end of the registry office ceremony. It was a shame some of Rose’s family were not able to attend due to other commitments, especially Daren and his children and Rose’s mum & dad.
As mentioned previously this is only the first part of our marital celebrations. We are now planning a grand celebration here in France later in the year.
You can view the rest of the pictures in our picture galleries under the menu selection at the top of the page ‘Plus lots more ..’
This very special day is planned for 8th November, 2014. The ceremony is going to be with our immediate family and closest friends, as we have always planned for a much bigger event to take place here in France.
We have been so busy over the past 4 years and this event always seemed to be planned for next month, next year …. so no more!!!!
Another Season comes to an end and what a season, good weather, great guests and lots of social evenings. Our personal speciality of burnt bbq sausages washed down with fabulous french wine went down a storm.
New, this season has been the ingredient of very polite french children staying for sejour and film nights beneath the stars. The ‘Lion King’ and ‘Frozen’ will never be the same without the moon and stars as the backdrop.
We also reached a personal milestone, Neil celebrated his 60th birthday with an evening to remember. Apologies to the guests for that night, we may have kept a few awake with our celebrations.
Although, the celebrations were slightly tarnished with an unfortunate accident. Our 4 year old grandson fell in the field and broke his collar bone. He was very brave and has since made a complete recovery. The photo shows his mum colouring his brace, as he thought it made him look like a Power Ranger ….
